Traffic routes will be changing this week for Stars and Thunder.
The Timmins Police Service says Brunette Road will be changing to a one-way street southbound between Algonquin Boulevard and Second Avenue. Communications Coordinator Marc Depatie says people will only be able to drive through or stop quickly to drop off or pick up festival goers at Hollinger Park. Depatie says this is to ensure everyone coming and going from the park stays safe.
He says the one-way rule will be in affect from this Friday at 8:0am until July 4th at 6:00pm. Depatie says during this time, the one way will be in affect at all times of day.
Depatie says access to Water Tower Road will be restricted to those permitted to use the road for the festival.
Signs will be posted and officers will be monitoring the area.
