News Giant Tiger set to reopen SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, Nov. 13th, 2014 The Porcupine Mall’s Giant Tiger has a date for reopening. The store has been closed since mid-June after catching fire. A garbage truck parked outside the mall caught on fire, which then spread to the mall. A news release sent out yesterday says the store is set to open on February 21st, almost nine months since the fire. The release also says the store has a new look and renovations.
