You are being reminded to be diligent and stop at stop signs.
The Timmins Police Service says it has received multiple complaints of people running right through four-ways spots, especially at the intersection of Moore Street and Golden Avenue in South Porcupine. TPS says this intersection gets used by a lot of seniors and children walking to and from school so drivers need to respect the rules of the road.
Police say enforcement will be stepped up in the area. It adds that public safety is a top priority and police will work to stop this issue.
