A Timmins man is facing charges of impaired driving.
The Timmins Police Service says an officer noticed an SUV being driven in an erratic fashion while on general patrol Sunday night. TPS says the officer followed the car with his emergency lights on before the vehicle stopped in Timmins south end.
The 36-year-old driver was then arrested and taken into custody. The man is facing four charges including:
- fleeing while being pursued
- impaired driving
- driving while suspended
- failing to give a breath sample
Police say he has been released from custody and will appear in court on May 8th.
