Timmins Man Looks to Break World Record to Support Kids with Autism

A Timmins man is looking to break a world record in the name of Autism.

Stuart Duncan, the creator of a Minecraft server for kids with Autism, is looking to break the Guinness World Record for “longest video-game marathon on Minecraft” on Autism Awareness Day. Duncan says he is looking to break the current record of 35 hours, 40 minutes and two seconds by hitting 36 straight hours of gaming while talking about the Autism spectrum.

Duncan says he will be set up at the Timmins Best Buy starting at 12:00am April 2nd and going through until April 3rd. Duncan says he will be live streaming the game and bringing on famous Minecraft playing YouTube stars during the stream. He says this way his message will be broadcasted to a bigger audience.

He says he will also be collecting money for the cause with half the money going to his server and the other half going to Autism Ontario. There will be a link on the live stream where you can donate, or you can bring Duncan a cheque at Best Buy.
