Sledding trails in the Timmins area are opening.
The Timmins Snowmobile Club says some of the trails around the city are opening with limited availability. Some trails around the Cochrane and Kapuskasing area are fully open.
The club says all snowmobilers with a valid trail permit have access to the tail system. It states that riders using the trails must obey all provincial laws, ride defensively with care and avoid consuming alcohol prior to or during any snowmobile ride. The club says snowmobiling is a great family activity when riders make the choice to ride safely.
