Hundreds of Toys Collected for Local Children

Hundreds of kids will have a little something to open this Christmas.

The Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board and EMS has handed over a plethora of toys for children of all ages, as well as a cheque $1,931.10 to NEOFACS. This was all collected at the “Fill an Ambulance” and “Fill a Crib” toy drive that took place on Saturday in the Walmart parking lot.

NEOFACS Communications Coordinator Brooke Ballantyne says she is overwhelmed by the support shown by the community.

Ballantyne says all families in the community are welcome to apply for some of the toys.

Ballantyne adds that there are moys toys donated donated this year and less money than previous years. She says with more toys, NEAFOCS will be able to help more families.
