The poppy flag is flying high at Timmins City Hall.
This is to commemorate the upcoming Poppy Week within the city. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 88 Treasurer Eugene St. Jean says Poppy Week is the kick off to the Legion’s annual poppy campaign.
St. Jean says they will be handing out poppies for the entire week.
Poppy Week will take place from October 27th to November 10th, ahead of the Remembrance Day celebrations.
