The first round of voting for the NDP leadership starts on Monday and Charlie Angus says he is exactly where he wants to be.
The Timmins-James Bay MP says it’s been a long nine month race, but he is still working hard. Angus says polls show Ontario MPP Jagmeet Singh has a slight lead, but he believes in his grassroots approach.
Angus says his team has raised the money and built the teams across the country.
He says he still has a lot of travelling to do, including going to the National Showcase in Hamilton this Sunday.
The first round votes will be revealed on October 1st.
