Recent cuts to education from the Wynne Liberals have placed a lot of uncertainty around the future of Northern Ontario schools.
This is according to Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson, who says these cuts put a lot of northern towns at a big disadvantage.
Bisson says the funding formula is failing schools up north.
He says the formula needs to change to better reflect the realities and differences of northern Ontario small towns, in comparison to large cities such as Toronto, or Sudbury.
