Uncategorized FONOM to hold Premier accountable to northern promises SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Thursday, Jun. 19th, 2014 The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities isn’t letting Premier-elect Kathleen Wynne forget about election promises she made. FONOM has congratulated Wynne on her majority Liberal win but will also hold her accountable on her northern commitments. The lobby group says that includes exploring agriculture opportunities in the north and the drive to four lane more of the north’s highways. FONOM also wants movement on a permanent municipal roads and bridges fund and wants the rising cost of policing addressed.
