Police Looking for New Auxiliary Members

You could become an auxiliary member with the Timmins Police Service.

Communications Coordinator Marc Depatie says this is a volunteer position. Some of the duties of a volunteer member include crowd management, searches for missing persons and support during major emergencies.

Depatie says to apply, you must be at least 18-years-old, in good moral standing and physically and medically fit. You have to have a valid Ontario drivers license and have a high school diploma.

He says applications can be found on the police service’s website under the careers tab. All applications must be in by March 3rd.
