An 11-year-old died following a collision on Highway 11.
Police were called to investigate a collision yesterday afternoon on Highway 11 at Pipeline Road. An 11-year-old girl from Burlington crossed the highway while driving a snow vehicle and was struck by the commercial truck. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The highway remained closed until about 7:40pm while officers completed their investigation.
