A homemade village will be set up in Kapuskasing’s Riverside Park to support the Push for Change. Push for Change is an awareness campaign focused on ending youth homelessness. It hosts former street youth and heroin addict Joe Roberts pushing a shopping cart nine thousand kilometres across Canada.
OPP officers and local high school students will be building temporary shelters experience what it’s like to he a homeless youth for the day.
The Push for Change campaign will make it’s way through Kapuskasing on February 15th.
