Almost five years after the alleged incident took place, a 27-year-old man from Matheson is being charged with sexual assault. Police were made aware of the assault back in August and were able to make the arrest on Wednesday. The accused is facing nine charges all relating to sexual assault. To protect the victim’s identity the name of the accused is not being released.
