Uncategorized Public Sector Advertising Act passes crucial vote SHARE ON: Paige Parker, contributor, Friday, Apr. 4th, 2014 The Ontario Auditor General could soon have the ability to oversee all government advertising. The Broader Public Sector Advertising Act put forward by Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson passed it’s second reading yesterday. The act would have the Auditor General oversee all spending on government ads to make sure taxpayer money isn’t wasted on partisan ads or pointless ads outlining government priorities.
