Chief for a Day Contest Beginning

The Timmins Police is looking for their next chief, at least for a day.

Once again the police are holding their Chief For A Day contest, allowing students in grades four, five, and six, to write an essay and try to win an inside look at the job.

Students are asked to answer the question, what do the police do in your community, with a one-page essay.

Drop it off at the police station front desk by May 6th.

The winner will get a full tour of the police station, ride in a cruiser, and have lunch with Chief John Gauthier.
