News MRCA pitching an off-leash area at Hersey SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Wednesday, Mar. 2nd, 2016 The Mattagami Region Conservation Authority is proposing a compromise for an off-leash area. The MRCA is suggesting the Rainbow Loop at Hersey Lake be set as no-lead area for dogs. This suggestion comes after the board got many complaints and requests for an off-leash area. The MRCA says the proposal is about ensuring the safety of all users, while balancing the recreational needs of the community.
