A 25-year-old native of Timmins is among the victims of that Airbus crash on take-off from the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa on Sunday.
Stephanie Lacroix’s uncle, Gilles Lamarche, confirms that she was one of 18 Canadians among the 158 passengers and crew members who died. There were no survivors.
Lacroix had a degree in international studies from the University of Ottawa. She had been working in Africa for the World University Service of Canada.
