Kidsport putting out a final call for summer applications

Time is running out for families to get summer applications in to Kidsport. The office is open on Thursday for the last time until August. The organization still has $6,000 to give out this summer.

Officials say because most registrations for winter sports happens in September, it’s best to get applications for funding in now, to guarantee cash in time.

The office is in the lower foyer of the Archie Dillon Sportsplex and will be open on Thursday from 9:30am until 1:30pm. It will then reopen on Tuesday August 15th.

Kidsport is a Canada-wide non-profit that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids 18-years-old and younger.
