An advisory has been issued for the town of Cochrane in regards to a door-to-door water testing service.
The town is stating that there have been complaints from residents regarding a water testing business going door to door claiming to be affiliated with the municipality. Cochrane officials would like to remind you if a town of Cochrane staff member was to appear at your residence they would present town identification as well as be driving a town of Cochrane vehicle.
The advisory is also being given for the surrounding areas, including Kapuskasing, Hearst, Opasatika, Moonbeam, Smooth Rock Falls and Val Rita-Harty to keep an eye out for the same door to door salesmen.
