Releasing the entire $100K core review to the public will be debated at Timmins council tonight

Timmins Councillor Rick Dubeau has put a presentation on the merits of releasing the full core service review to the public on tonight’s council meeting agenda. Thus far, a big portion of the $100,000 KPMG report has been talked about behind closed doors. Dubeau is saying most of it should be made public, and so has put the issue on the agenda for the council meeting tonight.

Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting is a report on water and sewer rates from the city’s engineer Luc Duval, and council will vote on allowing a local woman to have a Montessori School at her home.

The meeting starts at 6:00pm tonight at city hall.
