Immersive theatre at Timmins Museum later this month

A different type of theatre experience is headed to Timmins October 23rd to 25th at the museum.

There are two different immersive shows planned. Both incorporate Timmins-based material.

The owner of the theatre company called “Live History”, Jasmine Bowen (JAZZ-min BO-in) says the first presentation is called “Timeless Gathering”. It will have you sitting around a table with the characters in the play. An exhibit has come to life, stepped out of the archives and lost its memory.

“Through puzzles, clues, anecdotes you have to help this mysterious character figure out who they are,” she explains.

The other one — “Behind Glass” — follows characters around the museum.

“It’s a whodunit mystery. There’s been a terrible tragedy, a broken artifact and you are going to learn about five different characters who have stepped out of the archives and try to deduce who is the culprit.”

Because of their intricacies, the plays are mostly aimed at adults. Information and tickets are available from the museum.
