There is some good news for seniors in northern Ontario. The Liberal government has decided to reverse their decision to increase drug costs. Provincial NDP leader Andrea Horwath says this is a victory for seniors across the province. She says it will be a relief to know the cost of their drugs won’t be going up, as the Wynne budget had proposed. Wynne is now thanking the thousands who spoke up, and the more than 80 organizations that wrote to the government to oppose the plan.
