A new website for the Timmins Public Library has gone liv, replacing an obsolete one that was 12 years old.
Library CEO CaroleAnn Demers says the new site is much more intuitive.
“This new site has improved accessibility, it is clean, easy to navigate, user friendly, it has everything that the patrons might need,” she states.
It also expands on what is available from the library online.
And for most services, you don’t need a library card.
“You can get an electronic card which will last three months,” explains Demers. “And then you have to come in an verify your identification to make sure you’re a Timmins citizen and then will transform that into a regular card.”
