An attempted robbery at the Holiday Inn on Algonquin Blvd. at Mountjoy St. Saturday morning has Timmins Police and Crime Stoppers looking for the culprit.
Investigators say the man tried to steal the cash box from behind the counter. An employee and several hotel guests thwarted the theft, but were pushed to the ground. Two of them sustained minor injuries. The would-be robber took off.
