Here’s another sure sign Christmas is merely weeks away.
Saturday, November 26th at 6:00pm in Hollinger Park is the eighth annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting.
Lacey Rigg of Tourism Timmins says the biggest of the tress in the park will have four-thousand lights on it. And that’s not all.
“Part of the park will be lit up in various colours to enhance the community skating rink as well,” Rigg notes.
“There’ll be carolers, Santa Claus, some hot chocolate, so it’ll be a great community event.”
