The Circle K convenience store in Schumacher was robbed early this morning.
Timmins Police say that just before five o’clock, a man wearing a hooded jacket with the hood up and a scarf covering his lower face demanded cash and cigarettes from the clerk. He had a weapon… but investigators aren’t any more specific than that.
He ran out of the store with a pack of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Criminal investigators from the local force are being helped by an OPP tracking dog.
Police emphasize that there is no concern for public safety.
