Your thoughts on Timmins’ future are needed as we get closure to the municipal election.
The Timmins Chamber of Commerce is asking you what things you see as priorities for the city as election candidates start to form their platforms. Manager of Policy Nick Stewart says the chamber has created a short survey to gather your thoughts and ideas which will be presented to the election candidates.
Stewart says the chamber typically just works with the business community. He says the chamber has already presented council with what local businesses would like to see in the coming years. Stewart says the chamber thought it would beneficial to open a survey up to everyone to also get a community vision of Timmins’ future.
The questionnaire is open until September 5th. Click here to access it.
Stewart says the chamber will be presenting the community vision to the election candidates at a general public meeting on September 6th. He says more information on that meeting will be released at a later date.
