This fall’s mayoral race has a new name in the mix.
Former mining executive with Placer Dome George Pirie is adding his name to the ballot alongside Steve Black and Daniel Fortier. Mickey Auger has taken is name out of the mayoral race and put it in for the Ward Two Councillor position.
A few more names have also been added to the councillor and school board trustee lists. The full list of nominees includes:
