A pre-trial date has been set for Timmins Councillor Rick Dubeau.
The councillor is facing charges of corruption of a municipal office and breach of trust by a public officer for allegedly offering to act in a preferential manner to Goldcorp in his role as a city councillor in exchange for the company buying his home at a premium.
The investigation into this case started September 7th last year, and Dubeau was arrested and charged on September 14th.
His pre-trail date is now set for August 8th at 3:30pm. He will be back in assignment court on September 5th.
