Timmins Transit hours will be modified over the holidays.
The City of Timmins says on Christmas Eve, there will be no busses running after 6:00pm. Timmins Transit says on Christmas Eve, the last one hour runs will leave the transit terminal at 4:30pm. The 5:30pm 901E and 901W will be modified and offered by request only from the transit terminal on Spruce Street.
The city says there will be no service on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day, and the Sunday schedule will be in affect on Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve. The Timmins Transit office will be closed from December 24th to 26th and January 1st.
