Northern Ontario New Democrats have released a public letter addressed to the province’s new Minister of Energy regarding gas prices. The letter, signed by Gilles Bisson, Sarah Campbell, France Gelinas, Michael Mantha and John Vanthof is directed at the Ontario Energy Board.
The letter is quick to point out that when Minister Glenn Thibeault was an opposition MPP he was incredibly vocal on the issue of rising gas prices. The NDP MPPs are calling for a meeting with the minister to discuss ways to lower gas and energy prices for northerners.
