Timmins is going to get hit with a winter storm this week. Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement for a lot of the north, as a storm is expected to roll through tomorrow night. Right now, they are predicting 10-15 cm of snow by the end of Wednesday.
Environment Canada is also predicting heavy winds, which means low visibility on the roads with blowing snow. They will continue to monitor the storm, and may put Timmins on a winter storm watch later today as the storm path and snow amounts become more certain.
