Four laning of Highway 69 continues

The province is four-laning another 14 kilometres of Highway 69 as work continues to connect Sudbury to Toronto with a four-lane roadway. The land in question will be cleared over the winter and the connection takes the roadwork to Highways 607 and 522.

This latest phase will take five years at a cost of $173-million and includes 10 bridges and two exchanges. After this next leg is complete, 68 kilometres of Highway 69 will still be left to be four-laned.
