The Temiskaming OPP is releasing numbers from their festive RIDE campaign. The annual campaign ran from November 23rd and wrapped up on January 2nd. During that time, 49 check points were conducted. Police laid eight impaired driving charges, and three warn range suspensions. Police remind drivers that no amount of alcohol is safe when driving, and driving sober and drug-free is the single most important factor in ending impaired driving related collisions.
