The North East LHIN says it’s aiming to make some improvements to its services for residents in the region. Its new plan details three areas where it wants to improve.
Increase accessibility and wait times, improve care coordination and address the logistics of the network in terms of sustainability. The LHIN says it conducted surveys in order to come up with targets for the new plan which will run through to 2019.
This comes as Nickelbelt MPP France Gelinas suggested LHIN leadership positions should be elected and not appointed by the provincial Liberals.
