No inquest into the death of a man who drove his van into Little Pearl Lake

There is not going to be an inquest into the death of 23-year-old Richard Gagnon. The Timmins man died in May of this year when he drove his van into Little Pearl Lake. His parents were then found dead shortly after at their home on Denise Street, when police went to notify his next of kin. An inquest is usually held to hear accounts of what happened from police and witnesses. However the Ontario Coroner’s Office says the case has been thoroughly investigated, and there is no need for the public forum.
