Toys collected from an annual motorcycle rally are going to three women’s shelters in the area. The Timmins Police and the Harley Owners Group team up every year to tour the city, collecting toys and non-perishables for the food bank.

The toys were donated on Friday to the shelters which include HER Place, Villa Renouvellement, and Tranquility House.

Timmins Police Deputy Chief Des Walsh says they do this drive to make sure any kids who are housed in shelters over the holidays are well looked after and have some gifts from Santa.
