There’s no snow on the ground yet but it is on the way, and this is the OFSC’s Get Ready to go Snowmobiling Week. The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs says it’s celebrating the significant economic impact sledding has on communities, especially those in the north. Almost $2 billion is generated every year in Ontario because of tourism based around snowmobiling.
This week is a reminder for sledders to get their gear and trail passes ready for the upcoming season. The OFSC Website has extensive trail maps, and when the snow hits it will be updated with information on groomed trails.
