The Timmins parents charged after a seven-week-old infant died have made their first court appearance. The pair was hit with a failing to provide the necessities of life charge after a post-mortem was done on the baby who passed away earlier this month. The 25-year-old mother was released with a date to return, while the 30-year-old father is being held in custody until a court date on Friday.
There is a publication ban on the case, which means no specific details are being released to the public yet. Two other kids have now been put in a safe place in connection to this incident.
