Don’t forget to boil your water in Mountjoy

The valve at Riverside Dr. and Norman St. has been replaced, and the city and health unit are reminding you to boil your tap water before using it. 

That goes for anyone connected to the city water source west of the Mattagami bridge.  It’s a precaution in case bacteria got into the feed during the valve replacement. 

The boil water advisory will remain in effect until two water samples 24 hours apart come back clean.
