The OPP, MTO, and MNR were all stopped on Highway 11 in Cochrane last month for the initiative. An 18-year-old from Cochrane was arrested after being found with illegal guns. He was hit with unauthorized possession of a firearm charge. On top of that, a 31-year-old woman from Calgary was found with around $7,000 worth of pot. She is now looking at two counts of drug trafficking, and two counts of possession.
