Vic Fedeli, the Tory MPP for Nipissing, says it’s deplorable that the Liberals have paid teacher unions for their bargaining sessions. Fedeli says the Liberals funnelled millions to the unions and he has an analogy to put the amount in perspective.
He says when you look at the fact that $1-million can buy 4,000 breakfasts for an entire school week, and now the Liberals are at $7-million, he says she has stolen their lunch money.
The Conservatives are now looking into whether the transfers were legal at all because sections of collective bargaining prohibit this kind of activity.
