A northeastern hospital has cracked the top 40 list of research hospitals in Canada. Sudbury’s Health Sciences North was ranked 36th this year, four spots higher than last.
The CEO and Chief Scientific Officer for the Advanced Medical Research Institute of Canada, which based at HSN, Dr. Francisco Diaz-Mitoma says this speaks to the hard work, dedication, and quality of the entire team.
The list is compiled by Research Infosource, who looks at research activity and developments in Canada. Dr. Denis Roy, President and CEO of HSN, says those are the factors that lead to breakthrough discoveries and improvements in health care. He says HSN is committed to using research to improve patient care.
