A public meeting is happening in Timmins tonight for the city to hear ideas on how to improve the Hollinger Park. Mayor Steve Black says he has already heard some solid input, like putting a fence in around the kids play area, or improving the concert area.

The city is looking at the five to ten year plan for the park. Black says council is doing that with all of the city’s assets to see how they want to budget for improvements going forward.

The meeting starts at 7:00pm at the Mac tonight, and everyone is welcome to attend to hear and provide input.
