News Miner killed in Sudbury has been identified SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Oct. 23rd, 2015 Very little information is being released about how an underground miner died Tuesday in Sudbury after being hit with equipment. The miner has been identified as Richard Pigeau. No other information has been released about the victim. The Ministry of Labour has an engineer and an electrical – mechanical inspector examining the accident scene.
