The Timmins Police Service is charging a local woman after a fire was set to a home on Birch. The blaze broke out last week, and did extensive damage to the top floor of the home. No one was hurt. Police say the fire was set after a domestic dispute between the 33-year-old and the victim.
Police say there is a history of domestic violence between the two. Among the charges are assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and attempted arson.
