Iroquois Falls is getting some support to re-purpose Resolute Mill

Iroquois Falls is getting just over $87,000 to look into re-purposing the Resolute Mill which closed almost a year ago.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation says the funding will go toward a feasibility study, which will look at how the building can be re-done. The NOHFC is investing almost a million dollars in total, going to 20 different tourism and infrastructure projects. This is the third announcement of its kind in two weeks.

Hearst, Kapuskasing, and Mushkegowuk will also benefit from the funding. A full list of NOHFC projects are online, click here.
