News Sections of Algonquin are going to be closed this week UPDATE SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Tuesday, Oct. 13th, 2015 Update: Wednesday October 14, 2015 Algonquin is still closed between Theriault and Rea, the city estimates it will be open by about 7:00pm tonight. Original story: Tuesday October 13, 2015 Algonquin is going to be shut down between Theriault Boulevard and Rea North today for water main repairs. The city says it should be re-open by about 6:00pm. Sections of Algonquin will also be closed overnight over the next couple of weeks. The road will be closed between Brunette and Mattagami until Thursday the 15th. This is for sewer flushing and camera inspections, which is part of the Connecting Link design study. It will then be closed again in the same part from the 18th to the 23rd. The road was shut down between Brunette and Pine last night, also for sewer flushing and camera inspections. It was set to re-open early this morning.
